Why the Duchess of Sussex is on the mend

FourFourSeconds ago, a report in the Mail on Sunday said the Duchess would be returning to work on the royal yacht, the Marlowe, which was in the harbour of Exeter on Thursday.

However, a source close to the royal family told the newspaper that the Duchess has been recovering from the surgery to her left knee, which has left her unable to swim or do any strenuous activity.

She has been taking part in exercise but is unable to lift weights, according to the report.

The Duchess of Cambridge was at the helm of the Marluxia in 2014 when it was docked at Exeter.

Her right knee was in an induced cast and she could not move it while at the wheel.

She was also forced to wear a protective mask to protect her vital organs.
